About Our Center
Miracles at First Child Care Center is a not-for-profit, designated New Brunswick Early Learning and Childcare Facility founded by First Baptist Moncton in 1991.
We encourage all our Little Miracles to grow both spiritually and intellectually, and wish for all children and families to feel as though Miracles is an extended part of their family, where they can come for support and always feel welcome.
Our Philosophy
We feel that introducing a faith-based program will help with good character building. We hope to model and teach good morals and values and a love and acceptance of others that will follow the children as they grow. It is our wish that, together with the values taught at home, the children will learn to treat others with respect and compassion.
Our Environments
Every part of our center has your child’s development in mind, whether it’s to encourage problem solving, build friendships with others, explore and learn through hands-on play, or practice their communication and listening skills.

Classrooms
Our bright, open classrooms set the stage for exploration! Whether your child is concentrating on science and math activities, investigating sensory tables, getting into character during a dress-up session, unleashing their creativity with arts and crafts, singing and clapping along to music, or playing independently with their favourite toys, they will have a blast building their skills and learning with us.

Outdoors
When the sun is out, so are we! Thanks to our fenced-in backyard, we regularly schedule playtime outdoors so the children can get fresh air and climb, run, dig, bike, paint, and play to their heart’s content.

Gymnasium
On rainy days when everyone is full of energy, we take advantage of our full-sized gymnasium - it’s the perfect place for picnics, ball games, organized games, interacting with friends and educators, and working on gross motor skill development.

Kitchen
Good nutrition fuels a good day. We are fortunate to have a full kitchen at our fingertips and a friendly cook on staff who prepares the children’s meals daily. The kitchen also comes in handy when baking and cooking activities are on the menu.
First Kids J.A.M.
First Kids J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) is a program for our day care children ages 2 to 4, that we offer several times a week. Through storytelling, crafts, flannel graph, digital media or even song and dance, First Kids J.A.M. is all about “God’s Special Book” - the Bible - and how very much God loves each and every one of us!
